\nwhile the nation lost its health.
\nThey were sneaky. They told lies.
\nSome of them were even spies.
\nAt their head a demagogue
\nposed as god but was a cog
\nin an overarching scheme
\nto bring down a country’s dream.
\nThey would drill in sacred soil.
\nNothing was immune to spoil.
\nThey were always on the take,
\ncalled all accusations fake.
\nTheir contempt for all our laws
\nhad the public dropping jaws.
\nSo it was when this cabal
\nfound itself nailed to the wall
\ncitizens sang justice songs.
\nTraitors were jailed for their wrongs.
\nHistory calls it failed coup.
