\nand chipped a baby tooth.
\nShe buys her jeans and magazines
\nand cigarettes all there.
\nAt CVS she buys a gel
\nto colorize her hair.
\nOne time she stretched out
\non a bench for a two-hour nap.
\nAnd she admits to shoplifting
\nan item from The Gap.
\nThe courteous mallflower
\nspends every waking hour
\navoiding time at home
\ninside that shopping dome.
\nAnd once school’s at an end,
\nshe often tells her friend,
\nshe’ll still be in the mob there,
\n’cause she’ll just get a job there.<\/p>\n
