When April’s rains make ground a bog,<\/div>\n
some wet enough to float a log,<\/div>\n
the peeking flowers give us hope,<\/div>\n
we search the sky for sun, but, nope,<\/div>\n
the clouds still need a bit more time;<\/div>\n
from winter up to spring’s a climb.<\/div>\n
The branches waving in the breeze<\/div>\n
are summoning the leaves to trees.<\/div>\n
Each day we wait for color’s bloom<\/div>\n
to wash away grey season’s gloom.<\/div>\n
We know one morning after dark<\/div>\n
we’ll see the buds amongst the bark.<\/div>\n
Soon trees will wear their fine green skirts,<\/div>\n
and even some Hawaiian shirts.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
