I’ve never seen so many big red noses.
\nOr people stepping on each other’s feet.
\nThe air smells of face paint and rubber hoses.
\nIt seems there’s naught but bozos on the street.
\nAnd as the rally cries ascend to laughter,
\nwhile here and there is tossed a custard pie,
\none wonders if there’s clowns in the hereafter.
