We celebrated Boxing Day<\/div>\n
in a fairly normal way.<\/div>\n
Put on gloves, got in the ring,<\/div>\n
danced a bit, began to swing.<\/div>\n
After landing several jabs,<\/div>\n
we both took a couple tabs.<\/div>\n
Next thing you know, we’re inside<\/div>\n
boxes, boxes, tall and wide.<\/div>\n
Boxes, boxes, everywhere,<\/div>\n
like an Amazon nightmare.<\/div>\n
Box of turtles, box of frogs,<\/div>\n
ancient box of Lincoln logs.<\/div>\n
In some boxes made of pine<\/div>\n
some old relatives recline.<\/div>\n
In a box unopened yet,<\/div>\n
came a scream, “Nyet, nyet !”<\/div>\n
Had to see what made that noise.<\/div>\n
It was filled with Putin toys.<\/div>\n
But we deemed these dolls no fun,<\/div>\n
mailed them back to Washington.<\/div>\n
Of course we’d see them in a while,<\/div>\n
playing at the Senate trial.<\/div>\n
It was just a mailing glitch.<\/div>\n
They were meant for Moscow Mitch.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
