My thinking cap’s\u00a0been on a nap,<\/p>\n

or else I think of dying.<\/div>\n
I get up like a normal chap,<\/div>\n
then back to bed go, sighing.<\/div>\n
I really hate to watch\u00a0the news,<\/div>\n
though nothing else is on.<\/div>\n
Most every day I’ve got the blues,<\/div>\n
and now I can’t blame Don.<\/div>\n
It’s come to where my mind goes bare<\/div>\n
and hunts conspiracy,<\/div>\n
like it’s a vapor released where<\/div>\n
those live who disagree.<\/div>\n
We need statistics on the trends<\/div>\n
on who gets sick and who stays well.<\/div>\n
If those untouched are his friends,<\/div>\n
then we’re inside a living\u00a0hell.<\/div>\n
Could this be a plot<\/div>\n
to simply cancel all elections?<\/div>\n
Let the liberals rot<\/div>\n
while offering his friends protections?<\/div>\n
Could it be he’d kill the world<\/div>\n
consolidating power?<\/div>\n
And maybe his pal Vlad unfurled<\/div>\n
this deadly dream so dour.<\/div>\n
It could be they’ll rule the ravaged earth<\/div>\n
from west to east.<\/div>\n
Perhaps they were destined from their birth.<\/div>\n
