They’ll push the army up our nose.<\/div>\n
It’s bad enough troops in our streets,<\/div>\n
and they’re not there for meet-and-greets,<\/div>\n
but now we have to wear their duds,<\/div>\n
and flounce around like Elmer Fudds?<\/div>\n
There’s little charm in army fashions,<\/div>\n
’bout as tasty as C-rations.<\/div>\n
Olive green and basic black,<\/div>\n
fresh off Uncle Sam’s clothes rack.<\/div>\n
“Oh, Sarge, you look so fine to me.<\/div>\n
What is that look called, infantry ?”<\/div>\n
We know that rugged men like camo.<\/div>\n
Gives them pockets for their ammo.<\/div>\n
In certain\u00a0states, accessories,<\/div>\n
like M-15’s are bound to please.<\/div>\n
But here comes a fashion\u00a0warnin’,<\/div>\n
can’t tell civvies from the sworn-in.<\/div>\n
Countries become very scary<\/div>\n
when they turn all military.<\/div>\n
People, please consider class.<\/div>\n
