There’s just no reason not to drink these days.<\/span><\/p>\n

It makes things better in so many ways.<\/div>\n
The pandemic\u00a0doesn’t seem so bad<\/div>\n
depending on the drinks you’ve had.<\/div>\n
This is not to say whiskey’s a healer,<\/div>\n
just that you may be soothed by tequila.<\/div>\n
Bloody Mary tends to make the nightly news less scary.<\/div>\n
Rum and coke turns anything White House into a joke.<\/div>\n
Five straight shots of gin might make you think Republican.<\/div>\n
And now with all the killings of black men by bad white cops,<\/div>\n
some may find the pain is eased by drinking of the schnapps.<\/div>\n
There’s little now to cheer, but some solace in good beer.<\/div>\n
Some sturdy stout can black things out to be sorted tomorrow.<\/div>\n
