The world shut down, our reigning clown<\/div>\n
through all the warnings dozed.<\/div>\n
But now we’re opened up again,<\/div>\n
as if nothing occurred.<\/div>\n
We’re back, he claims, though flu sustains.<\/div>\n
Do not believe one word.<\/div>\n
As the whole world stood aghast<\/div>\n
at our lack of prevention,<\/div>\n
he said we’re fine, it fades in time.<\/div>\n
He rules with blind invention.<\/div>\n
His comeback rally failed by half,<\/div>\n
enflamed his aggravation.<\/div>\n
And his solution, do not laugh,<\/div>\n
is cut back immigration.<\/div>\n
Those foreigners will take our jobs,<\/div>\n
