We’re goin’ to a Covid party!
\nIt’s happenin’ on the White House lawn.
\nThe odds are five to one of getting sick while having fun.
\nIn a few weeks, some of us are probably gone.
\nBut it’s worth it to hear our glorious leader,
\nthrough his spray of aerosol germs in the air,
\ntell us it will disappear, although it’s very clear
\nwhatever happens to us, he won’t really care.
\nMaybe we’ll get a tee shirt or a fancy campaign hat.
\nWe can beat this China virus if we’re brave.
\nAnd, if we do get sick, at least we’re lookin’ slick
\nin our 2020 garments in the grave.
