Spring comes knocking at a cold front door.<\/p>\n

Why do folks come out no more?<\/div>\n
Answers follow, though they’re vague.<\/div>\n
Has something to do with plague.<\/div>\n
Only come outside for tasks.<\/div>\n
When they do, they all wear masks.<\/div>\n
It’s a quite confusing thing.<\/div>\n
The first robbers of the spring?<\/div>\n
Then, it seems to warm in spots.<\/div>\n
All the places where there’s shots.<\/div>\n
In the south, they’re all outside.<\/div>\n
As if nobody had died.<\/div>\n
March is green with vaccinations.<\/div>\n
April just might see vacations.<\/div>\n
Springtime questions have amassed.<\/div>\n
Have we opened up too fast?<\/div>\n
Kids have now gone back to schools.<\/div>\n
With new sets of stricter rules.<\/div>\n
Desks apart and do not hover.<\/div>\n
If you cough, please duck and cover.<\/div>\n
Summer’s our pie in the sky.<\/div>\n
No one’s sure how this will fly.<\/div>\n
Covid’s stolen one whole year.<\/div>\n
