The Lone Ranger did not age too well,<\/p>\n

grew old living\u00a0in a masked-man’s\u00a0hell.<\/div>\n
But, way before the cowboy hat,<\/div>\n
he was a circus acrobat.<\/div>\n
He modeled and did Air Force time,<\/div>\n
then came the role that proved divine.<\/div>\n
Young Jack Moore, name changed to Clayton,<\/div>\n
got the break he’d been awaitin’.<\/div>\n
First western made for t.v.<\/div>\n
became a hit on ABC.<\/div>\n
Silver horse and Silverheels<\/div>\n
suddenly were great big deals.<\/div>\n
He did five seasons of “Hi Ho,”<\/div>\n
and then was told he had to go.<\/div>\n
He would tour venues, always masked,<\/div>\n
and did not cease when he was asked.<\/div>\n
He was Lone Ranger to the masses,<\/div>\n
cowboy duds and dark sunglasses.<\/div>\n
Embroiled in a five-year suit,<\/div>\n
fought hard once he got the boot.<\/div>\n
And, finally, there was his name<\/div>\n
on Hollywood’s great Walk of Fame.<\/div>\n
He had four wives, but now he’s gone,<\/div>\n
