All the pollen is gone from the flowers,<\/div>\n
and the bees who had worked there for hours<\/div>\n
have all disappeared. It’s just as we feared.<\/div>\n
Fall has fallen and now nature cowers.<\/div>\n
Cold moves in with a hint of first frost.<\/div>\n
Losing plants will, of course, be the cost.<\/div>\n
Leaves will flutter and pile, meaning in a short while<\/div>\n
all the color we loved will be lost.<\/div>\n
A long winter sees weeks dusted white,<\/div>\n
glistening by day, reflecting at night.<\/div>\n
Spring will seem far away, some time, April or May.<\/div>\n
The return of the bees sets things right.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
