Electricity. What a cool invention.<\/div>\n
We used to have to heat by fire,<\/div>\n
torchlight for attention.<\/div>\n
Now we only flip a switch<\/div>\n
and on and off goes power.<\/div>\n
No more need of gaslit sconces<\/div>\n
in the evening hour.<\/div>\n
First came lights and then came stoves<\/div>\n
and now, electric car. Uses multiply until<\/div>\n
we’ve found we’ve come too far.<\/div>\n
Destroying our ecology<\/div>\n
was what we didn’t factor.<\/div>\n
It turned out electricity’s not cool,<\/div>\n
but a bad actor.<\/div>\n
We must cut back. The sense we lack<\/div>\n
has got us in a pickle.<\/div>\n
The flood of watts has sealed our lots.<\/div>\n
Must cut back to a trickle.<\/div>\n
Pump up your solar and wind forces.<\/div>\n
Nature can sustain.<\/div>\n
There have to be some better courses.<\/div>\n
