Bob Dylan’s eighty-one today.<\/p>\n

A man who has a lot to say.<\/div>\n
In Hibbing, where the poet grew,<\/div>\n
was raised up Roger Maris, too.<\/div>\n
The gopher city we must\u00a0hail<\/div>\n
also bred Kevin McHale.<\/div>\n
But Bob became a restless beast,<\/div>\n
took his guitar, headed east.<\/div>\n
When Bob showed up in NYC,<\/div>\n
the Village scene made history.<\/div>\n
Folk and jazz and honky tonk.<\/div>\n
Honk if you like Dave Van Ronk.<\/div>\n
Later, when he electrified,<\/div>\n
some thought his career had died.<\/div>\n
But he wrote five hundred songs.<\/div>\n
Some are even sing-alongs.<\/div>\n
Many anthems of our ages<\/div>\n
are found in his lyrics pages.<\/div>\n
No singer’s been this exciting.<\/div>\n
Won the Nobel Prize for writing.<\/div>\n
Maintains his air of mystery,<\/div>\n
even after age eighty.<\/div>\n
Happy birthday, Mighty Bob.<\/div>\n
