\nthen ennobled eight starts to leaven.
\nBy nay nine they’ve picked up a pen
\nand write diatribes by terse ten.
\nEnlightened eleven may see a growth spurt.
\nAnd by tortured twelve they perfect throwing dirt.
\nAll hell then breaks loose in tense teens,
\nas if they’d consumed magic beans.
\nGod knows if they make it to twenty,
\nyou will have been tortured aplenty.
\nAt twenty-one they turn adult
\nand join the establishment cult.
\nIt’s then they avoid you like rabies.
