Life is the wonder socket,
\na pulse of ice and fire
\nthat churns the steam of dreams,
\na forest of unbidden shadows’
\nmasked parade of time.
\nThe prayer of clocks
\ncannot drown the mystery of fears,
\ntheir ripped pocket of unending trials.
\nAll thought rides the rails of perspective,
\ntapering ever toward death’s horizon.
\nEnergy consumes. Entropy enlightens.
\nA soothing drop in a bucket of fright
