Dusty milk spots remain
\non the old barn floor
\nwhere we used to play tag as kids.
\nThey were the safe zones,
\nlike baseball bases,
\nwhere one could not be tagged.
\nProblem was they were oft below
\nthe very cows that made them,
\nnecessitating a baseball-like slide,
\nfeet first, the old-fashioned way,
\nin order to reach them.
\nAnd, in doing so, one had to avoid,
\nby all means, getting "udder-faced."
\nTo get tagged and "faced"
\nwas a disgrace that might be
