\nHe acts out more than I.
\nIn his early days of crime,
\nhe’d wink as I stood by.
\nBut things got really out of hand.
\nHe thrived on doing harm.
\nBad moods could lead to robbery,
\nbad dates, a broken arm.
\nAnd if it rained on my parade,
\nhe’d go off on a spree.
\nIt got so bad that even dreams
\ncreated jeopardy.
\nI rest a whole lot easier
\nsince he is behind bars.
\nBut sometimes I still feel his pain
